The Ledlie Group has announced that Philip Hauserman has been named vice president of operations.
In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day business of the communications-based consultancy. He will continue to have a lead role in the firm’s crisis communications, media relations, marketing support and event management efforts for clients in legal services, financial services, environmental, healthcare and real estate.
“Philip has rapidly earned the respect of our staff of senior consultants and the areas of the business community where he has worked,” said Joseph M. A. Ledlie, president. “This is a natural next step for him and for the firm.”
Since joining The Ledlie Group in 2004, Mr. Hauserman has managed communications programs and critical events for major corporations and professional service firms in Atlanta and beyond.
“I look forward to leading the firm on a day-to-day basis, particularly as we turn the calendar on a new decade.” Mr. Hauserman said. “Joe has given me yet another great opportunity to help our firm succeed.”
He is currently leading an effort to move a 100-year-old Renaissance-revival church 900 miles from Buffalo, New York, to Norcross, Georgia. Other recent projects include managing more than 60 speakers, including Steve Forbes and Christopher Gardner, for a Fortune 1000 company’s national client conference, and the repositioning and rebranding of a $400 million investment management firm.
A graduate of Presbyterian College with a bachelor’s degree in English and a minor in business administration, Mr. Hauserman is an active member of the Presbyterian College Scotsman Club and Presbyterian College Young Alumni Board. He has also established a scholarship in memory of a varsity baseball teammate at his alma mater.
Mr. Hauserman and his wife, Ashley, a nurse manager in the cardiac intensive care unit at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, live in Decatur.
The Ledlie Group has represented more than two dozen Fortune-list companies and assisted clients of dozens of leading law firms across the U.S. It also serves the marketing aims of professional service firms and is a gateway for relocators to metro Atlanta.
